Colorful celebrations are a way of life in the camel country, it seems people have filled their lives with beautiful colors, which are otherwise not seen in this desert landscape.

CAMEL FESTIVAL (January)
Camels, the stalwart of the desert , give an unmatched performance in the festival, bringing the desert town to life with its spell binding display of graceful parades and stunning feats, the festival sways to the sound of melodius music created by the folk performers.

KARNI MATA FAIR(April /May and October /November)
The fair is celebrated twice a year in the little desert citadel of Deshnok, in honour of Goddness Karni Mata, the tutelary deity of the Bikaner royal house.

GANGAUR (March/April)
The festival of maidens and married women. Women attired in their best costumes and jewellery, pray to Gauri,an incarnation of Goddess Parvati.

KAPIL MUNI FAIR, KOLYAT(November)
The sacred lake of Kolyat is the venue of this fair.

A Cattle Fair
 Also takes place at this time and thousands of people come here to attend the festivities.
